I am miserable. The pain pills seem to last a little over 2 hours, but I'm only allowed to take them every 4 hours. I don't care anymore. I'm taking the pills whenever I need them. I have drains where my breasts used to be. They make it impossible to get comfortable.
Thankfully my mother is here to help out for the week. I'm done for the day. Back to bed. Tomorrow has to be better.

sending up more prayers dear, that'll you'll find some comfort. just hang in there, the next wk or two will be rough...but the pain will slowly start to subside.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so badly. Maybe you need to readdress the pain with your physician? Praying God will help you heal quickly and bring you comfort.
ReplyDeleteSheri, I got your blog address from somewhere and I just wanted to tell you to hang in there. It will get better. I had BC in 2004, her2 positive, er pr positive. Right mastectomy. I still remember how much I hurt after having it done. The pain medication like yours didn't last long enough for me. My doctor allowed me to take tylenol or motrin between taking the pain meds. Not that it helped that much but it held me over some until I could take the pain meds again. You might want to check with your doctor and see if it would be okay. I'll be reading and praying for you.
